Our aim is to help producers reap the benefits of efficient, profitable and sustainable farming. We have built an outstanding and comprehensive team of technical staff who are not only highly qualified and well informed of recent technological developments but also represents an unmatched depth of experience across a diverse range of livestock species and production systems. The key tenet of the technical charter is to provide technical and nutritional advice that is appropriate and practical for each specific farm situation, based on proven research and commercial expertise both in house and when visiting on farm.

The formulations provided embody the latest information on ingredient descriptions. Additive applications and premix design, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in livestock operations. This is a complex activity involving the preparation of diets, which address the specific nutritional requirements of the stock within each enterprise. There are no standard formulas but rather customised formulations to match the specifics of individual operations. It involves fine-tuning based on production feedback, seasonal conditions and variation in the nutritional composition of the feed available. Formulations are conducted using software programs which not only optimise the nutrient profile of each diet but also optimises the utilisation of combined materials and ensures a trouble free continuity between diets.

The service package provides the client with a comprehensive table of expected performance values and feed usage. This is broken down into a table of weights for age with corresponding growth rates, feed intakes and feed efficiency values. This provides a basic performance template created from knowledge of the operating variables at each farm. It provides the client with a yardstick of expected performance against which spot checks can be done. It also provides projections of expected feed use, expected production volumes and expected final market weight and age.

Alltech Lienert Australia also supplies clients with a projection of expected diet usage with a corresponding raw material explosion. This allows the producer to budget for and coordinate the supply of grains, protein meals and additives for a specific production period.

Comprehensive raw material purchasing advice encompassing the nutritional value of alternative feedstuffs, optimum combination of grains and protein meals, specific volumes of materials required, minimum quality standards and risk factors associated with out-of-spec. materials can be provided. Analyses can be arranged to help clarify the nutritive value of specific parcels of feed e.g. protein, fat, fibre, carbohydrate and mineral assays and energy estimates.

For feed customers who choose to receive manufactured feed, a comprehensive and independent nutritional package is provided.
This service supports the customer with monthly formulations and associated reports on specifications designed to match the farm conditions. Grain contracts are monitored to ensure correct use rates within the diets and advice given
to help purchasing decisions.

Farm visits are conducted as required to gain a better understanding of the individual operation (stock movement patterns, silo constraints, accommodation limits, feeder types etc.) This allows advice to be fine tuned to each farms characteristics, equipment and structure.
